Woohoo !
In 1993, I missed the World Series because, well, I was living in France. I couldn't even see a single footage, a single video, hardly even photos. There were no broadcasts, and forget about hearing it on the news.
Here we are, 22 years later, and I can finally watch meaningful baseball in September. I won't even have to sweat through a Wild card game, and that's a major plus ! I've watched as many Blue Jays games as I could thanks to MLB.tv, including yesterday's clincher, even though it was a blowout.
Man am I psyched !
So psyched I'm not even planning on showing a single baseball card to illustrate it.
I'm going rogue !
Congratulations! I am still holding out faint hope that the Twins can join the postseason party this year, but if they don't, Toronto has my AL vote.
ReplyDeleteyay ! I really like the Twins' team this year
DeleteI've been hoping you're following this!
ReplyDeleteI'm all over this thing ! to think there was a life before the Internet...
DeleteCongrats. All of this is a nice change of pace from seeing my friends who are Blue Jays fans sulk about how bad the Dickey trade was.
ReplyDeleteThat said, enjoy it while it lasts.
heheh...yeah, there might be a slight problem with pitching in the years to come
DeleteCongrats! I'm all in for a Cubs-Blue Jays World Series.
ReplyDeleteand I'd almost feel bad to see the Cubs fail so close...Damn you Marty !
DeleteThe Jays are my pick for the AL pennant this year.
ReplyDeleteI follow Hackenbush - Jays Cubs. At this juncture however, I must root Cubbie all the way. I remember what the Jays did to my Phillies in 93. No grudge held mind you...Have fun Kevin! I'm excited your team made it into the playoffs!!!
