...

As some of you may know if you follow world news, yesterday was a very sad day for France. The headquarters of a satirical French newspaper were hit by a terrorist attack. Two armed men killed twelve people basically out of spite, because they did nos like the idea of freedom of speech and free journalism.

This tragedy strikes home even more for me as I sell the books of those people who were killed, mainly caricaturists. Artists whom I've followed for most of my life and have admired for my entire professional life. I am part of that community, and even though I did not know any of them personally, many of my friends did, and we are all sad and appalled.

I won't be talking about cards today, and yesterday I simply wasn't able to write at all, but life will go on and I'll be back to showing off my beloved little pieces of cardboard.

Thank you for reading this, as I wanted to share my sadness with my other community.

  2. We mourn for you and your brothers and sisters. All politics aside, acts of terror like that are unacceptable.

  3. As an American, I stand with you and all of France. Such acts of terrorism will not long frighten those who stand for freedom and democracy. My heart aches for those who lost loved ones and for you Kevin. I lived in OKC during the time of the Murrah bombing. In fact, worked only a few blocks away and lost a friend in the tragedy. I do sympathize and offer my heartfelt condolences!
